Health and Safety Measures in Poseidon Palace****
With a heightened sense of responsibility and following the new health protocol supplements to avoid the spread of COVID19, Poseidon Palace is already available again for reservations with flexible cancellation policy The restart was carried out with the following adjustments giving priority to the safety of its guests, employees and suppliers.
1. Cleaning/Disinfection:
- Meticulous cleaning of all common areas and rooms with cleaning and disinfectant products of the company OIKOHIMIKI SA, approved and certificated by the Greek Medicine Organization and registered in the National Register of Chemical Products
- Natural and intensive ventilation in all areas
- Use of steam cleaner or spray with disinfectant action over all common surfaces and furniture
- Reactive and meticulous cleaning of public toilets with the appropriate chemicals/cleaners
2. Personal Hygiene and health:
- Training of all staff in the observance of health protocols, emphasizing in the use of individual protection measures, providing them with sufficient quantity of masks and gloves and ensuring the frequent adequacy of stocks
- Control of the health certificate of all staff
- Encourage the staff is someone shows symptoms similar to those of the disease, to stay home until they recover or if they get tested for the virus, to return if the results are negative
- There is a notified plan of suspected COVID19 case management if a hotel' s guest shows symptoms of the virus. Staff is fully informed about this
- There is a collaboration with a private doctor who is notified to visit the patient in the hotel in such a case, according to the plan
- There is a medical kit available with the necessary equipment , if a suspected COVID19 case appears in the hotel
- There are antiseptics for use by customers and staff in all public areas and hotel' s sections
3. Keeping Distances:
- Floor marking for distance maintenance in front of the reception, for the Check In and Check Out process, as well as in front of the Breakfast Buffet
- Tables, chairs and sunbeds are at the appropriate distance from each other
4. Food Safety:
- The hotel is observed in the kitchen programme HACCP
- Sneeze guards installing in Breakfast Buffet
- Receiving of supplies from our staff with the use of individual measures of protection
- Control of stored food to ensure their hygiene
- Meticulous cleaning and disinfection of all kitchen, bar and restaurant equipment
5. Continuous information and compliance:
Poseidon Palace**** will continue to monitor and comply with all new operating measures based on tourism protocols and to inform its customers, employees and suppliers
